Terms & Conditions
LuxBin:
LuxBin is a premium garbage removal service offered to all Wiedner Apartment Homes residents to take out their trash. A door-to-door service is offered at a gold package: three times per week or a Platinum package: five times per week - LuxBin takes out your garbage for you. LuxBin is user operated via an online portal, LuxBin clients control their service by signing up, ensuring active account status is maintained by subscription billing and timely adjustments for failed payments, or cancellations.
Pricing and packages:
LuxBin offers two services packages.
o Platinum: $36.00 / month flat fee offering 5x week pick up
Clients may utilize the service up to 2x per day as LuxBin crews complete a day sweep and evening sweep; if your bin is out, we will take it!
o Gold: $32.00 / month flat fee offering 3x week pick up
Clients may utilize the service up to 2x per day on Gold service days (M,W,F) as LuxBin crews complete a day sweep and evening sweep; if your bin is out, we will take it!
Newly signed up accounts will be billed on a prorated basis to account for the delay from day of sign up to receiving bin and getting on the service, a 3–4-day delay before you can utilize the service may occur depending on the day of the week you sign up; all services thereafter are billed for on the 20th of the month prior to the following month of service. Services billed for on the 20th are to pay for services through to the following months on the 19th.
Cancellation of service must occur prior to subscription billing (see terms below).
Non-service days: all packages will have full services except for identified holidays (see calendar on website); inclement weather or acts of god (see terms below). Refunds or changed rates will not be credited or accounted for in inclement weather (see terms below) or holidays; this is a flat monthly fee, subscription-based service.
Start of Service and billing:
Upon signing up for a LuxBin service on a week day of Monday – Thursday you will receive a LuxBin trash bin with in 48 hours; if you sign up on a Friday-Sunday your bin will be delivered by the following Tuesday by end of day as soon as you have your bin, you are welcome to start using our service on the first day of your elected plan.
LuxBin is a monthly service paid for prior to the month of service, the first payment will include both the pro-rated amount owing for the remainder of that current month’s services and the bin deposit. Following your sign up you will be billed every month on the 20th.
LuxBin trash bin: this $15.00 deposit will be refunded to you with in fourteen (14) business days of a LuxBin representative or community director confirming your bin has been returned and is functioning to be put back into service – if your bin is damaged, not clean, or not returned you will not receive your bin deposit back.
Example of new sign-up billing:
If you sign up on March 19th 2024 for the Gold package, you will receive your trash bin by the 25th, and your services will begin on March 27th. You will be billed $25.68 for services Mar 27th – April 19th as well as $15.00 for your bin deposit. Your next payment will process on April 20th for services April 20th-May 20th.
Cancellation:
Clients may cancel services at any time, by simply logging into their account via their custom online portal and managing their subscription to cancel the re-occurring subscription. Cancelations will be effective starting on the next service cycle:
IE. A ongoing subscription cancelled on the 10th of the month will result in services stopping on the 20th (the first day of the new cycle.
To avoid being charged for the following months services ensure your subscription is cancelled by the 19th if you are cutting off service. Pro rated billing will not apply for cancelling services. Cancellations must be made in time to not be charged the monthly billing, monthly billing already processed will not be refunded. Clients who cancel their services must return their LuxBin bins to their buildings front office for pick up – if they do not return their bin to the front office and it is received by a community director or LuxBin representative in working condition the deposit will not be refunded.
To return your bin you may leave the empty bin and lid out on a service day for pick up, our crews will have a list of cancelled customers and will pick up any bins no longer in service.
Failed payments:
If your payment fails, you will receive a notification and have seven (7) days to make your payment or your account will go delinquent, and services will be cut off for the following month. To re-activate your account, you will be subject to a $5.00 re-activation fee – If your account is not in good standing during your 7 day grace period don’t sweat it, LuxBin will continue to service you if your bin is out and following our guidelines – if you do not have your account in good standing with in 7 days, you will be removed from the schedule and forfeit your bin deposit if you choose to end services, if you re-instate, simply pay a $5.00 reactivation fee – email help@luxbin.com to get assistance to get back on our schedule. There will be no prorated billing, price adjustments or refunds for missed services due to failed payments.
Agreed to service participation:
1, 13-gallon garbage bag per bin, per pick up
No stacking boxes, or any items on or near bin, pick up only includes 1 bag and its contents
No restricted items allowed in trash:
Needles
Human or animal feces
Broken glass, sharp objects, or weapons
Liquids
Biohazardous materials
Illegal substances
Bag must be tied shut and lid on and closed
No setting bins out after 6 PM
Residents are responsible for keeping their bin clean
Each bin is labeled and specifically designated to your unit, no sharing bins with other units
Warnings & Stopped Service:
If a resident has violated the rules a sticky note will be left on their door to notify them of their violation. If a resident violates the rules more than 2x, on the third violation they will automatically be removed from the schedule, and services cancelled, no refunds will be provided. To get trash bin deposit back they must contact LuxBin (help@luxbin.com) or return the bin to the front office of their building.
Inclement weather / Act of God (events considered uncontrollable by human intervention):
During any inclement weather or acts of God, (events considered uncontrollable by human intervention) LuxBin will not guarantee service, adjusted services schedule or refunds.
When signing up for LuxBin you are agreeing to these terms and conditions, violations or delinquent accounts are subject to LuxBin refusing to re-instate services.
